In 1996 Frank Powlesland started the music comedy
act “ The Cloghoppers “ with Beth Sheldon
when they performed at Linz festival pflasterspektakel.
Since then The cloghoppers have performed all over the word at the highest level
(see festival highlights page)
and won various competitions.
Over the years they have expanded there circus skills , training in Australia
and Europe on
acrobatics , juggling , Lasso and unicycle.
Now known as Banjo Circus
“The smallest banjo orchestra with circus tricks in the world”
they can not only play extremely excellent bluegrass banjo but can also juggle
banjos on an extremely tall unicycle.
After many years practice they are some of the very few people in Europe that
can perform the high level circus lasso tricks.
